Independent Division Champions!
Saturday, October 24, 2009
Today, the Gamma Delta Chapter participated in the Alpha Delta Pi Cornhole Tournament and came
out on top as the Independent Division Champs and Second Place Overall!
The chapter entered five two-member team into the tournament in which all teams won in the first round.
After the second round all but two team were eliminated. As the competition heated up so did game play! It
came down to final team having to play two strong Springer-Franklin teams back-to-back! Dispite the pressure
of being the last team to represent the chapter, the final team stepped up to the challenge beating BOTH final
opponents 21-10 and 21-7 respectivly and claiming the Independent Division Championship!
As Independent Champs the chapter was then to compete for the overall championship! The chapter first had to play
the winning Alpha Omicron Pi team from the Sorority Division in which Gamma Delta came out victorious 21-5. This
win, placed them in the final bout in which they were to play the IFC Fraternity Divion Champions Alpha Sigma PHi.
Dispite winning handily, the past three matches the Alpha Sigma Phi team was too much for the Gamma Delta team.
Dispite not winning the final match, at the end of the day we were still Independent Division Champions and Second
Place Overall!
We would like to Thank our Wonderful Team Coaches Autumn Grammer and Pam Myrick!

Chapter Hosts Successful Rush Week!
Saturday, October 17, 2009
The Gamma Delta Chapter has been rapidly changing this year. As a part of the new ideas and goals of the chapter, Gamma Delta changed to a Rush Week style of Prospective Member recruitment.
Adam Decker, Fraternity Education Officer/Probationary Committee Chairman, and Spencer Sullivan, Secretary/Publicity Committee Chairman, promoted, communicated, and advertised the 2009 Rush Week through many different mediums and media, including flyers, contact cards, Facebook, and HailSinfonia.org. Events included Chili Night, Kickball Night, Pool Party Night, Dodgeball Night, as well as a Phi Mu Alpha Gamma Delta Recital that featured many brothers through voice and instrument in the MSU Farrell Recital Hall.
We would like to thank Copy Express in the MSU Business Building
for their services in providing flyers and contact cards.
We would also like to congratulate the new Probationary Members!
We look forward to progressing your journey through SINFONIA!
